OWSA has scheduled a Drivers Clinic for Sunday, April 27th at Pleasant Shores in Van Wert, OH.  Anyone who is interested in becoming a tournament driver is required to attend a clinic and pass both the written and on-water evaluations of your driving skills.  Anyone who attends the clinic in hopes of getting their Assistant Driver certification must have their "Application For Assistant Driver" completed prior to the clinic.

Please note, AWSA maintains a high standard for it's drivers, therefore the clinic instructors will be very discriminating in regards to your driving ability and it's common for drivers to not get approved on their first attempt.

The clinic is also open to any person who does not want to become a rated driver but would simply like to become a better and more educated boat driver.  The 3 hour discussion prior to the on-water evaluations will make you think about important driving skills and safety aspects that you have probably never considered.

Start Time: 8:30 am

Lunch: No Break - We'll have chili and PB&J sandwiches for people to eat.  You may need to kick in a few dollars for lunch. 

Finish: On-water training may go until dark.

Cost:

People becoming Assistant Drivers in one or more events: $30 for OWSA members & $45 for non-OWSA members (Andrew, Brian, Kevin, Gar, Keri, & Kayla)

Everyone else: $15 for OWSA members & $25 for non-OWSA members
