THE "STATE CHAMPIONSHIP" FORMAT

The State Championship will be run as it has in the past as a 1 round 3 event competition.  Clubs will be competing for the overall Team Trophy, so bring as many skiers from your club as you can round up!  Trickers and Jumpers who did not slalom on Friday may have the oppertunity for a second round of trick or jump at the end of the day Sunday time and officials permitting.

SCORING

• State Championship will be scored based on Age Divisions.
• Handicapped Scoring Rules will also apply in trick & jump for the purpose of Buckeye Bouy Tour scores. 

COLLEGIATE COMPETITION & SCHOLARSHIP

• Collegiate skiers will not only be scored individually in their age divisions, but will also be scored towards their team using collegiate scoring rules.  A Collegiate State Championship Team will be crowned on Sunday!
• One lucky collegiate skier will be awarded a SCHOLARSHIP worth up to $1,000.  The amount of the scholarship will be based upon the total number of collegiate skiers who attend the State Championship.

EVENT ORDER & RUNNING ORDERS

• State Championship - Running Orders for slalom on Saturday morning will be RANDOMLY DRAWN prior to the event grouped by the following divisions (B1,G1,B2,G2), (M5-11,W5-11), (B3,G3,M1,W1,M2,W2), (M3,W3,M4,W4)  --  Running Orders have been drawn:  Saturday: Slalom M3, W3, M4, W4, M-11, W5-11, B1, G1, B2, G2, B3, G3, M1, W1, M2, W2  Trick: B1, G1, B2, G2, B3, G3  Jump: B2, G2, B3, G3  Sunday: Trick M1-2, W1-2, M3-4, W3-4, M5-10, W5-10  Jump M1-2, W1-2, M3-4, W3-4, M5-10, W5-10
• All slalom will be run on Saturday along with B1-B3 and G1-G3 trick and jump.  M1-10 & W1-10 trick & jump will be on Sunday.
• Start Times: 7:30 am SHARP (skiers will be scratched if not on starting dock) (subject to change)
• State Championship Awards will be distributed at the Banquet on Saturday night and at the end of the day Sunday

BANQUET

• The banquet will take place on Saturday night. 
• The banquet is free to all skiers in the State Championship.
• Additional banquet tickets for $10 each can be purchased for non-skiers.

OTHER EVENT DETAILS

• Camping is available on site Thursday thru Saturday night.
• The OWSA Summer Meeting will be held on Friday night at approximately 8:00 pm. 

• Unlimited entries for the State Championship

ENTRY FEES

ENTRY FOR THE STATE ROUND ROBIN ON FRIDAY IS SEPERATE FROM THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS.  MAKE SURE YOU REGISTER FOR BOTH EVENTS IF YOU PLAN TO SKI ON FRIDAY.
