EXCUSES FOR NOT SKIING TOURNAMENTS:
-
Tournaments are boring ... Not any more. The Buckeye Buoy Tour brings alternative formats that will keep you on the edge of your seat all day. You're not just skiing against yourself anymore, you have to QUALIFY to advance in many cases!
-
I'm not good enough to compete ... In that case, you may just have the best shot at winning. All Buckeye Buoy Tour Stops have handicapped scoring, so the door is open for ANYONE of ANY ABILITY LEVEL to win.
-
There's No Competition ... Not the case any more. The Buckeye Buoy Tour Stops are all handicapped and you'll now be skiing against not only those in your division, but the entire field of skiers!
-
I only Slalom Ski, Jump and Trick take to long ... Lucky for you, the Buckeye Buoy Tour holds slalom only on Saturday with Trick and Jump on Sunday. If you're a slalom only skier, you don't have to hang around for Sunday.
-
I ski shortline and need better drivers ... Not a problem, thanks to the seeding of skiers in all Buckeye Buoy Tour Stops, the shortline skiers will be grouped together giving us the opportunity to assure that the best driver available is pulling that group.
-
I can't tell what's happening on the water ... Problem solved. All Buckeye Buoy Tour Stops will have an announcer on site.
-
I need more coaching ... Problem solved. The first group of skiers each round will have a coach in the boat who will be able to give tips and pointers to anyone who would like to have them. Also, don't forget that novice skiers get two tries if they fall!
OK, that should settle it then, you're now out of excuses for not attending a tournament this season! :-)
