Bellalago Big Gun

THE FORMAT 

Lake Bellalago will be holding the Bellalago Big Gun, the 4th Tour Stop of the 2009 Buckeye Buoy Tour.  Lake Bellalago was the first lake in Ohio to experiment with a Head-to-Head format for the inaugural Big Dawg Tournament and now Bellalago is bringing handicapped version of the event back to Ohio for the Buckeye Buoy Tour.  The Big Gun will consist of two rounds of qualifying with the Top 16 scores moving to a Head-to-Head final.  A seperate 3-Round, Class "C" Slalom Tournament will be held on Sunday if there is enough interest. 

SCORING

• Handicapped Scoring Rules will apply
Once seeded, all skiers will be divided evenly into 4 groups.  Skiers in each group will be skiing against that peticular group for one of the TOP 4 spots in that group.
The 4 people in each group with the highest cumulative score advance to the 16 skier Head-to-Head Finals.
The Finalists will hold the top 16 places, followed in order by the highest cumulative scores in the first two rounds.
Scores on Sunday will not count towards the Buckeye Buoy Tour Standings 

EVENT ORDER & RUNNING ORDERS

• The Big Gun will take place on Saturday and a seperate slalom tournament will be held on Sunday
• Start Times: 8:00 am SHARP (skiers will be scratched if not on starting dock) 
• Tour Stop Awards will be distributed on Saturday after the finals
• Running Orders will be based on seeding.  Lowest seeded skiers will be first off the dock.

OTHER EVENT DETAILS

• Camping is available on site Friday and/or Saturday night. 
• Cookout and camp fire on Saturday night.  Bring your own refreshments.

• Lunch will be provided for all skiers on Saturday and Sunday.
• 40 Skiers Max each day (1st 40 registered and PAID entries)

Slalom 

$50 - Individual Entry

There are additional Entry Fees for the Sunday Tournament.  They are two seperate tournaments with two seperate entry fees.  The fees for the Sunday tournament are the same as Saturday.  Skiing both Saturday AND Sunday would total $100 minus your officiating discounts.
